The Baltimore Stallions, founded in 1995, are another great team with a 15-3 regular season record. In 1948, they went an entire season without a loss as the only team in CFL history.

The Stallions dominated the Southern Division with two straight wins and the best record in the league. Pringle, who gained 1,791 yards, was named league MVP, Mike Withey-Combe was the offensive line player of the year and Chris Wright, who gained a league record 2,256 yards, was the rookie of the year. Nine Stallions were named to the All-cFL team.

Preparing for the opening playoff game of 1995, the Stallions learned that the Cleveland Browns were moving to Baltimore. Instead of folding their tents, the Stallions beat Winnipeg and San Antonio and advanced to the Grey Cup final against the Flutie and Calgary Stampede Chiefs, the only team Baltimore had not beaten in its two-year history. Tracy Ham outclassed Flutie and the Stallions won the championship 37-20 in Regina, Saskatchewan, bringing the Grey Cup south of the Canadian border for the first time. Unfortunately, attention to the Stallions and their magnificent 18-3 result was distracted by the Browns’ decision to move to Baltimore.

Six weeks later, Speros reluctantly announced that the Stallions were moving to Montreal. His losses were estimated at $1.6 million in his first season and $800,000 in his second. While several Stallions players went on to play in the NFL, Speros left Montreal after the 1996 season and is now vice president of a computer software company in Wash.

Ottawa Fury Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer club based in Ottawa, Ontario. The club has participated in the North American Soccer League and the USL Championship, the second highest level soccer league in the United States and Canada.

Ottawa Fury FC has 2 Legionnaires on its roster. The average age of team players is 21.0 years old. Ottawa Fury FC’s main stadium is TD Place Stadium in Ottawa, Canada. TD Place Stadium has a capacity of 24,000.

From 2005 to 2013, the Ottawa Fury SC franchise existed and played in the USL Premier Development League (USL PDL).

On June 20, 2011, the NASL announced that an Ottawa expansion team would join the league for the 2014 season. Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) was to be the owner of the franchise in this regard. After entering the NASL, the previous franchise Ottawa Fury SC was dissolved.

A Name the Team contest was held to select the name. On February 26, 2013, it was announced that the name Ottawa Fury Football Club had the most votes and thus the team would bear that name.

The first season finished in the middle of the table with three wins, one draw and five losses. The fall season, on the other hand, was disappointing and the team missed the play-offs by a wide margin.

The second year, however, was more successful. After another 6th place finish in the spring, the team managed to secure the fall title and a playoff spot one game day before the end of the regular season. There they were defeated by the New York Cosmos in the final.

The third year was another disappointing one for the Fury, who finished the spring season in 9th place and fell well short of reaching the championship round in an equally weak fall season. Following the season, owner OSEG announced that the team would compete in the now upgraded United Soccer League beginning in 2017.
